What's to love about love?

Hmm... I'm not really an expert on this matter. But I do know that loving isn't easy, that getting hurt is a part of it. This is no reason to avoid it though since it's probably one of the best experiences one can have.

Super beautiful Leighton

I think I said it before that I love Leighton aka Blair from Gossip girl. She's my favorite character, so bitchy and loving!I hope Blair and Chuck will stay together.

Welcome 2010

For my New Year's resolution, I really want to live my life more. This means I gotta travel more. I want to go back to Europe and really experience their way of life. I want to have an adventure, maybe this can change my life.

It's the sweater

This is my entry to the tacky sweater contest. It's about the sweater that grandma made and you're forced to wear it. So the least that you can do is to accessorize it to make it more socially acceptable. It might even look chic. So, hello to the tacky-turned-chic sweater. thanks grandma!

Hurrah for Mcqueen

Finally, a first place in my pocket with this set. It's for the McQ Tuxedo dress contest. If I were working in the corporate world, I'd love to wear this dress.

I am my own kind of princess

Diane von Furstenberg always knows how to make women feel and look sexy. This mini dress would perfectly hug a woman's curves. I bet wearing it would make one feel like a modern princess. This set is another entry to Vera Wang's contest. I used the shoes again since I love the color and it looks very comfortable with the thick heels and the fully covered top. urgh I want em.

Just be you

This is my third entry to the sparkle with Coach contest. I love the shot of the model, she looks so real and uninhibited hence I thought the "just be you" slogan would be perfect for her. I love hats, I don't wear them as much since it's too hot here but I do collect them and I want that Coach beret for myself. As apparent in the outfit, I'm a sucker for pink especially this particular shade. It looks so clean and youthful. How I wish it's not such a hassle to shop online, passing through customs is just annoying and expensive. Online shopping should be tax-free!!!

Stand out in the crowd

I used Leighton Meester in several of my sets. I think she's very beautiful and I'm a fan of gossip girl. This is another Christmas set since Christmas is just around the corner and I'm very excited. How I wish we have white Christmas here and it would be perfect. The gorgeous dress is by Karen Millen, love her very feminine creations. The dress kinda reminded me of Sarah Jessica Parker's dress in Sex and the City the movie. Wonderful.

Gray, boring? I say not!

I won 5th place with this set. I'm so happy. My aim is to win first, second, or third since those were the only ones really recognized =) I think I entered it to the gray dress contest. I love this strapless corset dress since it's very unique, it looks very raw and edgy.I love color but this set made me realize that gray is not boring and that it can also be playful and beautiful.

Fashion for less

Not all of us are fortunate enough to afford a net-a-porter dress, so we have to settle with the equally fabulous dress from forever21 or H&M. This set is composed of an entire outfit for less than $100, perfect for us here on the other side of the world. How I wish Forever21 and H&M would open here in Manila soon.

Put a ring on it

I'm really loving the floral Dianne von Furstenberg dress, love the color combination. With a dress like this, it's easy to pair it with any pair of shoe and bag just keep it simple and in one solid color. The shade of blue used in the shoes is divine, I think that's my favorite shade of blue. magnificent!I am really into rings nowadays, the bigger the better. I like them with lots of colors, I usually wear 3 to 4 at a time.

10 more days til Christmas

Dear Santa, you know what I really want for Christmas right?!

With love...

I won my first contest with this set. Yey. It was just 11th place but I'll take it. I used Anne Hathaway because I think she embodies a Valentino woman, very beautiful and elegant. The vintage Valentino gown is just dreamy perfect for the red carpet.

Be beautiful

Bella is beautiful. Part of the secret scent expression contest. I try to explore by combining fashion and home accessories, I am yet to master it though. I used a lot of pink since I believe it's one of the colors that can really beautify a person.

90210's it girl

Naomi Clarke played by Annalynne McCord is my favorite character in 90210. I love her strong personality yet she's a total sucker for love. I love her with Liam... I'm so happy they finally made up in the latest episode.

AnnaLynne and Matt on the set of 90210!!

Go be a Princess.

Inspired by Vera Wang's Glam Princess. I don't really know how it smells yet but I do love the bottle. I really love the gown, I saw this in Mix, Greenbelt 5 before. I stopped and stared at it for awhile. I love the simplicity and the color. It kinda reminded me of the gown Kate Hudson wore in How to lose a guy in 10 days but in a different color and collar design.

Beautiful smile

I'm really loving the skinny jeans, simple top, and blazer look. Many celebrities ans fashionistas are sporting it. It's easy and classic. This set is a more laid-back attempt with the linen and light colored blazer. The animal print bootie is just a twist to the outfit, you still wanna look stylish.

Life's a beach

Alessandra Ambrosio is my favorite Victoria's Secret angel. She's so hot and perfect for my beach-inspired set. This is another set submitted to the secret scent expression contest for the totally tropical scent, perfect for the humid manila.

From the office to the after-work date

I did this for the Secret Scent Expression contest. For this set, I chose the Cherry Mischief scent. So when I think of cherries, what comes to mind is the color red and its sweet taste. I also submitted this to the Valentino and Polish model inspired contests. *Fingers crossed*

This is for all the victims.

This set was inspired by the recent tragedy that pierced a lot of Filipinos. The massacre was just devastating. It's scary to know that there are a lot of people out there capable of doing such violence. Hopefully, the victims and their families will get the justice that they deserve soon. The murderers need to pay for their actions.

To all the victims, you'll be in our prayers.

OMP! Oh my Polyvore!

So after almost half a year of cold turkey from Polyvore, I am back. I've been making sets non-stop sacrificing sleep and delaying school works. It's so addicting!!! I love putting clothes and accessories together. I love browsing through the latest collections from different designers and RTW stores. I also like making sets about art and expression. It's my way of letting out how I feel, if I can't put it in words, might as well create a picture of it. So start creating now. www.polyvore.com

Why Idol, why?

I am sooo disappointed!!!! Adam is just way too amazing to lose. Chris
is also good and hot but adam's vocal capabilities and performances
are just uncomparable. The result is just depressing but nonetheless
I'm pretty sure Adam's gonna rock the billboard chart!!!

Adam, you're still my American Idol!!!

Costa Rica!

Hola! Komo esta? I've been here for the past couple of days, it's very
much like the philippines but with better weather! It reminds me so
much of home specially because we stayed in a relative's house, kinda
cool meeting some of my 2nd cousins, unkles, and grandparents!

However, it's hard to go around if you don't know spanish since very
few people know english.. Not even in stores, you have to get by using
sign language! It's a little different to the fast paced life that is
common in the states which makes me kinda lousy.

Don't have much pictures to share since I haven't been to a lot of
their attractions but i did find some nice shoes from an outlet store
here.
Shopping in general, however, is not advisable because imported stuff
here are more expensive than the states.

That's all!

Grand Canyon

I was taking my brother's picture!

Grand Canyon

Awesome view!!!

Grand Canyon

We drove from vegas to arizona to see one of the seven wonders of the
world, the grand canyon. It's pretty amazing, the view is just
fantastic. We spent most of our time taking pictures but since im
uploading this thru my iphone, my photos are limited.
But we couldn't really spend a lot of time on the deck because it was
soooo cold... Cold for someone who came from a very humid Manila.
Others were walking in their shorts and spags... So weird!!

Viva Las Vegas!

I arrived in Vegas at around 830 pm (local time). It was one nice landing... the view of the city with all the lights from the airplane window is pretty cool. I love the strip with the dancing fountain and the fire show... I'kk post pictures some other time, the nice ones are in my brothers SLR.Anyhow, I'm also thinking of putting some of my shopping money on Pacquiao or even Hatton, I don't really understand the odds but i need to double my money for all the Marc Jacob items that I want to buy!!!

Anyway, I had my eye checked this morning since my grade is not getting any better and I wanted to know other options so that I can get rid of my contacts and glasses. And the verdict is... actually I was referred to a retinal specialist and it was scheduled on the 18th of May since our itinerary is already full til the 17th. So if the doctors can correct whatever thickening that I have in my retina, I might have to stay and not go home yet on the 19th which was my booked flight back to Manila. This is both good and bad news for me, bad because I might need to LOA for a term or 2, good because I'll have more time to travel, I really want go East.

SO EXCITED!

I am so DEAD!!! I'm leaving the day after tomorrow and i haven't decided what to pack... I wanna bring my entire closet =0 the extreme weather is killing me!!! but nonetheless, i am so excited.

The Old New

Since this term was pretty light, I decided to take fashion merchandising in SOFA. I really enjoyed the class. We created our own line (just sketches of course). And our final project was deconstructing/recreating an old/ukay item. We went to the ukayukay place in Makati, i bought 5 items for this project but i couldn't destroy them... i had some really good finds and i was pretty sure i will destroy them... so anyway, i decided to work on my old hs uniform. here's the final result...
