These are my entries for the trends to watch for in 2010. The trends that I featured are ripped jeans, nude or flesh colors, floral prints, romper or jumpsuits, and the modern warrior look. It's great to follow trends as long as you don't sport all at one time.

I made this set for a contest inspired by the music you love. Since Adam started on Idol, Ive been a big fan. His voice is crazy and his style and ideas are mind-blowing. I love his latest album, For your entertainment. I'm not a big fan of the album cover though, it's a little too much but the songs are to die for. My faves would have to be Strut, Whataya want from me, For your entertainment, and the 2012 song Time for Miracles. Kudos Adam. Much love from here!

Simon's Last Season

Simon Cowell quits 'American Idol' - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for Filipinos


This is sad. I kinda saw Paula Abdul leaving idol last season when Kara joined the judges table but I wasn't disappointed. Hearing about Simon leaving is just devastating. I love how he speaks for the viewers, his occasional rude remarks are very much needed and called for. I don't know how Idol will find a replacement for Simon, he is one of the pillars of the show. American Idol is one of my favorite shows and it would not be the same without Mr. Cowell.

The contest asked for a specific runway look and to recreate it. I chose this model from Derek Lam 2010 Resort Collection. I love the corset-type halter top and the detailing on the strap.I also like the color combination of navy blue and yellow gold print on the skirt. It looks classic yet stylish. Loving it!

my first set for 2010. At first, I wanted to make something loud and shiny but these clothing popped out when I typed "new", then I found this beautiful picture and model so I had to use it. Plus, it might be better to start the year looking more pleasant, sweet, nice, and optimistic, right?!
